I am sure if you at this site, you are a Lecrae fanatic. If not, then I am sure it was a divine anointing by God directing you here. Regardless, my boys and I have been discussing the best of what Lecrae has to offer lyrically and phonetically. I think there is little doubt in our heads his talent surpasses many that preceded him. Over the past few years, Christian rap artists have made a real statement in the secular arena with better beats and radical rhymes. This alone has changed lives and hearts to God!
The recent release of his newest CD entitled Rebel, Lecrae has exceeded expectations and has created a masterpiece to the ear. He has shown that is true potential may still be within his soul in desperation to be heard. After listening his second album After the music stops, I thought that was about as good as it can possibly get. His approach to preaching the word of God through music was like nothing I had heard before. Sure T-Bone and Grits are very talented, I don’t doubt that, but something was different with Lecrae. His lyrics, his tone, his style captured me in a unique way.
Over the next week, I will be posting a top 10 list of the best Lecrae songs to date. This list includes some songs on his own albums, and some songs in which he was featured on others’ albums. I encourage you all to listen to these songs if you have not yet done so. Without further adieu, here it numbers 10-7:

This my favorite Lecrae Song http://lovemyword.blogspot.com/
I am thankful as a father that my 15 year old son has found the music of Lecrae. I’m not a huge Rap/Hip Hop fan but I listen to each song my son buys and when he asks if he can downloaded Lecrae’s album there is no need for me to be concerned. By the way, Praying For You is a wonderful song…….we can all relate. He is by no means a bad kid, but Christian roll models are harder & harder to find……..and he has slowly been able to influence others on his team to listen and hopefully hear these messages.
Prayin for you is one of the best songs I’ve ever heard.
Tell the world, Boasting, Killa, Rebel intro, Represent, Don’t Waste Your Life. Best song he’s featured in is Show Out by Flame.
Boasting is by far like THE best song I have ever heard, by Lacrae or by anyone! He sings it so well.. The first time I heard it I almost teared up (:
Ok, please update this question. Cauz REHAB is killing me right now!!! Whaaaaat!

HUGE FAN! I love all his songs but I think Identity, Jesus Muzik, Got Paper and Live Free are some of his best.
I fell for the first song I heard, We Sold Out!!! I love it…couldn’t help driving down the street blasting “…I’d rather die like Christ than live unholy!!!” After that Take Me As I Am became my next favorite. God bless this ministry and everyone it reaches!
its all about joyful noise.
