Finally, the most anticipated album of the year for Christian hip Hop is here. Trip Lee’s album Between Two Worlds
is devoted to helping people see life in a broken world properly (the way God sees it). The album is in many ways a collection of reflections on life in our fallen world. It’s meant to celebrate the good things, be real about the difficult things, and look hopefully towards the solution. It’s not meant to be a comprehensive study on life in a fallen world, only reflections on some of the things that were on my heart. It’s almost like a reality show, not depicting just my life, but all of our lives. And my desire was for all of my reflections to be rooted in a biblical worldview. So I talk about human limitations, friendships, even music, but of course from a Christian perspective.
Trip says he chose the title” Between Two Worlds” because that is where he finds himself. And the cover is meant to reflect that reality. “Not only am I fallen, but I live in a world that is fallen, interacting with fallen people and fallen situations. However, as a believer my citizenship is in Heaven (Philippians 3:20-21) and I look to the day when Jesus will ‘recreate’ His creation. So while I seek to navigate life in this world, I look forward to the new Heaven and new Earth (Revelation 21). But until I get there, I worship and follow the Hero who already saved the day.”

Man… that devil really don’t want me to post. This will be my third time I’ve tried to post a comment, but I’m not a quitter. so here we go again. I recently heard a song by KB called open letter (battlefield) with Trip Lee and as the beat it my ear drum and i started listening to the lyrics I was instantly took my the realness, and as the guy began to sing the hook I was caught up in the spirit, and as he began to release his battle shout I couldn’t help but begin to worshipping and crying of good hope and faith in Christ Jesus at my work desk. it’s been a hard battle these past three years I have been saved since i was 22 so it’s been about 11 years and going though my divorce was the hard test ever, i thought it was going to break me, but as the second year nears I’m stronger in my faith then every, me and my kids have not missed a beat and what every life tried to break the kids and I with: we still stand!!!!! I have never been a single mother before and did not think i could heap the call, but look at me: doing it!!!!!! hmmmmm, life is real, but God is the realist! I’m doing my battle shout!!!! never will I fold!!!! never will i give in, Never will I stop trusting the Father, never will I let go of Jesus! “This life is a battlefield” and I’m going to stand and fight until it’s time for me and my kids to take flight! I’m feeling real encouraged!!!
