The Ruin of the Wicked

There’s nothing more devastating than to be the target of deliberate evil or aggression. But unfortunately such things are all too common in our world.
The Bible tells us, “Do not be afraid of sudden panic, or of the ruin of the wicked, when it comes.” The “ruin of the wicked” refers to deliberate acts done by evil persons against others. And you’ll notice it doesn’t say “if it comes,” but “when it comes.” But God doesn’t want us to live in fear. The Bible says, “Have no anxiety about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”
Yes, there is evil in our world, but God gives his peace to those who request it.
