wow you totally missed the point…wat good is it to gain the world but loose your soul. we save trees, dolphins but what is really important is our souls. thats wat the song is saying..please listen more carefully.

@temporary222 I believe what he is communicating is a healthy balance in both. I’ve heard him speak on both social reform and preservation of the Earth, as our Christian duty. One line he calls out (would be views of Democrates) in another (would be views of Republican). I think you have to listen to the lyrics and his whole album, then you would get a better understanding of the kind of belief he has.

Look, the reason why we don’t overly care about earth is because the earth is not going to last forever. The point is that our eternal salvation is more important. That’s the point of the verse, it’s okay to care about the earth, but check yourself first. Also, don’t talk down to people thinking your more intellectual or better than them last time I checked were ALL sinners and we need Gods grace. Love your neighbor as yourself.

You’re presumably a Christian, but you have a problem with environmentalism and wanting to preserve nature? You find it annoying that people want to protect Earth- part of God’s creation, in your beliefs. Seems like typical Christian double-standards these days: selectively reading the Bible and cherry-picking for verses about homophobia and hate. I’d bet you don’t support the recent health care bill, or social programs for helping the poor in general. What would Christ say about that?

    No problem.

oh wow…stunned. Who would of thought when I was listening House of Reps in 98 that it would spawn this revolution. Nice

  17. ChristIzWhoIRep says:

@3yekun I agree. I don’t think people were comparing them to say who’s better, I think they are just talking about preference. Lecrae, Sho, Trip and Tedashii are all spreading the Gospel in their own way and that’s what matters at the end of the day, though people do have their preferences.

    ohh yess

  19. nikewarrior24 says:

Is this just a preview of the song or the whole song? Thanks for posting this up. God Bless.

  20. JJay479 says:

Amen, each member is equally important to edifying the body of Christ, it ain’t about comparing..thats how the world sees it and we ain’t of the world!
