Props to lecrae on speaking out on the quality of Christian rap. Good to see he’s focusing on quality and excellence over cultural acceptance and putting emphasis on the art behind his music. He’s definitly maturing as an artist and not just repping Christ blindly and putting everything else second. He realises that his music must be glorifying to God as well, not just his lyrics and thank God for that. I’m sure a lot of us artsy backpacker Christian rap lovers will be very pleased to here this.
