On Wednesday UK rapper Dwayne Tryumf announced the name and release date of his next project.
Dear friend,
I am writing to let you know why I chose the title “On Steroids” for my live album.
It’s simply what’s known as hyperbole (pronounced hy-per-ba-lee) which is used to evoke strong feelings or to create a strong impression, but is not meant to be taken literally.
I chose this as I believe it’s the best way to communicate the intensity of this album and invoke the curiosity of those who may not have heard my music.
Just wanted to reassure you that there is no compromise in the message of the gospel or my lifestyle.
I am not taking steroids lol and neither would I recommend anyone take them either.
