History

Grammy & Stellar Nominated Artist, XROSS, has been in the Christian Hip Hop scene for over 20 years and has been blessed to tour nationwide and internationally. With a direct impact on lives where he resides now in Minnesota, his music has also expanded to reach people of the Midwest as his kids (artists on 1 Way Entertainment) have done as well. He’s been well known for his relevant approach to engaging urban culture through messages of hope, faith, and outreach through his non-profit, “The Man Up Club”. XROSS’ resume expands broad as he has worked with top executives and had his songs featured in the Oxygen hit TV series Preachers of LA, Detroit and Atlanta.

Present Time

As mentioned earlier, XROSS has 4 children involved in music (K-Jay, Celena Lena, Tytist, and Christopher Jordan). As the President of 1 Way Entertainment, he has toggled many tasks as a label executive. Could it be that with that time being spent on the business side, XROSS now feels it’s time to leave the Christian Hip Hop scene and introduce the world to his other musical side? Well it sure seems like it as XROSS has now released hit singles, Superstar, Keep Going, and most recently, Say A Prayer”. The new sound that XROSS is giving us is like a Earth, Wind, and Fire, Curtis Mayfield, Marvin Gaye feel, with a Christian twist to it. XROSS tells us to be on the lookout of his old school/soul album, titled “Gospel According to Soul”, as it is expected to release on his birthday this year, March 10th.
