Joe Jackson Passes At 89 | @trackstarz

We have lost one of the patriarchs of one of the legendary families of music. Joe Jackson, the father musically well accomplished Jackson family, has passed away at the age of 89. Mr. Jackson was fighting a battle of pancreatic cancer. He recently went into the hospital where it was reported that he did not have long to live. What was said to be weeks quickly became days as he passed earlier today.

Prince Michael Jackson, Joe’s grandson and the son of the late Michael Jackson, is quoted on Instagram saying, “This man is and always will be an example of sheer willpower and dedication. He didn’t choose the path that was easiest, but he chose the path that was best for the family.” Powerful words coming from his grandson. Below are a couple of messages on social media from a couple of his other grandchildren, Taj and Randy, Jr. Be in prayer with this family. Though they are legendary they are human beings just like us. Pray for the strength and comfort of the Holy Spirit as they mourn their loss.
