Seattle hip-hop legend Xola, aka Kid Sensation, made his name alongside Grammy Award Winner Sir Mix-A-Lot. Xola is still making music moves with the debut of his highly anticipated new single “Letters” featuring his talented 12-year-old son, Kendi Fresh.

Xola and Kendi’s new single is a “letter” between the father-son duo and speaks to the important relationship between a father and his child. “As a man raised without a father, I understand the impact an engaged, healthy father figure can have on a kid and his future. We want to inspire dads and kids find ways to creatively engage.” Xola’s son Kendi’s debut single/video Lean started a dance craze that led to partnerships with police departments from Tacoma to Pasco to Lean together with kids in the community. Xola has music production projects from Seattle Seahawks team and player anthems including: The Official Legion of Boom Anthem 2015, Jermaine Kearse, Shaun Alexander (Fox TV Show) and more. Seattle Mariners team themes and collaborations with Ken Griffey Jr. (duet “The Way I Swing), Ichiro and more. Xola is a budding actor making his big screen debut in the Sundance Award Winner, Safety Not Guaranteed (2012) starring Kristen Bell, Aubrey Plaza and Jake Johnson.
