Trackstarz Social Media Manager Brutally Beaten and Disfigured with Acid

In a seemingly random attack late last week, Social Media Manager for Trackstarz.com, Chris Phioutong (@chrispyakakon), was brutally attacked with acid in his own home.  According to the GoFundMe page just posted, “The assault involved the use of extremely corrosive acid which resulted in deep burns to over 60% of his body, complete facial disfigurement, and permanent loss of vision in both eyes.”  Chris did not have health insurance and so the Trackstarz team are asking people to give money to support Chris’ recovery via the GoFundMe page that was set up by his parents, who are missionaries in Thailand.  Chris is a youth leader and a valued member of the #chh community.  If you would like to leave any positive messages for Chris, please do so on Chris’ twitter account.
