Last week we had an amazing time with boots on the ground at SXSW in Austin, Texas. We attended both The Kingdom Experience showcase, which you can watch on our livestream channel at http://jamthehype.tv, and we also attended the RMG Label “Reflect Greatness” Showcase featured in this video. We had some great interviews with Mogli the Iceburg where he shares with us the mechanics of making room in life for touring. Then we talked with .nobigdyl and DJ Mykael V from Indie Tribe about new things they have coming and about their playlist. Then we had a GREAT conversation with DJ Tony Tone from HOT 97 FM in New York, who is the host of the only Christian hip hop show on a secular hip hop station in the country. DJ Tony Tone talked with us about how to submit music to his show, his process, and what he looks for in the music. Then we have a performance by Deraj, and Derek Minor, and then we finally catch up with Ruslan. Ruslan, drops some really great insights about trying to survive in the streaming age.
