October 4, 2017Last Friday Reach Records dropped a phenomenal ASL ( American Sign Language) music video for “Dunk Contest” off of Andy Mineo and Wordsplayed’s ‘Magic & Bird’ album. This was in observance of Deaf Awareness Week and the day before the International Day of The Deaf. If you know about Andy’s story, then you know he has a deaf sister named Grace, and this may give Andy a heart for the hearing impaired community. Andy and Wordsplayed are doing dope things like giving out tickets for their LA show, and using funds from the sale of a certain shirt to fund interpreters for their shows. Peep the video below and remember that even though Deaf Awareness Week may be over; but the hearing impaired community needs and deserves love and understanding all year long.
