Reach Records made a surprise announcement over the weekend that
Ace Harris from the production team
PkOneDay is now the head of A&R at the label. Ace has produced many Reach Records tracks, including 100 from KB, and is the main creative behind the PkOneDay production team. PkOneDay’s office is in Los Angeles but Ace lives in Atlanta where he has been working very closely with the Reach Records team since Lecrae’s Rehab album. In addition to Reach artists, Ace has worked for Iggy Azalea, Nicki Minaj, NoMalice, Kid Ink, Derek Minor (in the “Pro” days), and many more. Ace is known for his emerging Afro-Pop sound and Reach appears to want to tap into that direction. The open position for Director of A&R was not widely known, but Reach had a number of people that they were interested in pursuing. Those who know Ben Washer, Lecrae said that Ace was chosen for his production chops and for his warm heart, which aligns with the rest of the staff and artists at Reach.
In addition to doing A&R at Reach Records, Ace will continue to run PkOneDay serving their other production clients. The rest of the team at PkOneDay is Brian Dylan (Chief Operating Officer), DJ Tag (Songwriter, Producer), Michael Armendariz (Songwriting, Client Support).
