With Gibsons untimely passing, the race has been on to find the dog that will fill the spot left in the Guinness Book of World Records for the title. And Giant George may just be the one. Looking more like a miniature horse than a dog, George, a 4-year-old Blue Great Dane, weighs in at a staggering 245 pounds. According to his owner, Dave Nassar, George consumes 110 pounds of food every month, and sleeps alone in his own Queen Size Bed. Nassar and his wife, Christine, raised George from when he was 7 weeks old, but never expected him to grow so big. The couple eventually had to move their aptly named dog out of their king sized bed when he grew too large for the three of them to share the same sheets. Being big isnt enough to get into the Guinness Book, however. There is no category for worlds biggest dog, no doubt to avoid owners from over-feeding their pets just to get them into the record book.
