It’s no secret that Houston, Texas’ 3rd ward community is known for it’s hard knocks way of life. Rows of brick public housing developments line it’s streets and boys born behind those walls are considered ‘Brick Boyz’ and their territory is known as ‘The Tre.’ And while high crime rates, substance abuse, and gang violence have built a negative reputation for ‘The Tre’ there is a group of young evangelicals who still believe that there is Hope for the Tre.
