How to improve your marriage is a topic of interest to many. Remember back to the early days of your marriage when you couldn’t get enough of each other? Research has shown that although many think that the secret to reconnecting with their partner is a candlelit dinner or a romantic vacation; the real secret is turning toward each other in little ways every day.

The Bible compares marriage to the relationship between Jesus and his church. Jesus sacrificed himself for the church by dying on the cross. And in marriage, we should be willing to make sacrifices for our partners. Usually we’re not talking anything huge, like martyrdom; it’s more like giving up a TV show or being willing to take the time to talk through a problem together when you’re tired. Sacrifice in marriage means putting your partner first every day.
