Lecrae was up in New York a couple of weeks ago, and while he was there he hooked up with C-Lite and director David Ham. With Manhattan as a backdrop they shot an impromptu music video for the song Background from his latest album Rehab. Check it out! A great video to a great song. I was recently at the 116 clique concert last week & I love this new approach on music with the different styles & such. This is the type of song that you can just worship God for hours to.

Ohh, how I truly admire Lecrae… I can only hope to find a man this in love with Christ someday. Honestly, that’s all I could really ask of anyone — friend, lover, or stranger off the street. Just please allow yourself to be so in love with Jesus that you’re more than willing to take the background as He reigns over your life. It’s not a decision you’ll ever regret. I know I sure don’t… ♥

Man God has blessed Lecrae with the gifts and talents he has. Because all I listen to is Christian rap(Lecrae, trip lee, sho boraka, this’l, etc and I don’t know why people would listen to anything else than all christian music that is the truth, and doesn’t follow the world, because GOD wants us to be IN this world, but not OF the world. THANK U GOD for all of these AWESOME christian rappers that are not just in it for the money and themselves. Lecrae, u are awesome I thank God for u everyday.
