@SoulSafeDaveO First. Im sorry that you lost your father. But God does not limit us on what and how much we can do. Our Father God gives us all we need to do what we can. It is not God that limits us but our own flesh. I think what he is saying in this song is that if what we are doing is not bringing glory to God then it is a limit. to ourselves. We are limited, with our Christ in our life. Do not put limits on God. He has no limits.
@cordovair Trip basically says that we as humans are in fact limited, and we each have our positions in life.. we all aren’t called to be the best and have the best of everything in THIS life.. it’s not putting limits on God but just saying He runs the show and that we are His designs.. “This is the way that life will be, limitless YOU, put limits on me… this is the way that life will be” i hope i make sense..
if God didn’t put limits on us then we would be limitless but our limits allow us to be dependent on Him realizing that without Him we are not limitless. He places limits to help us rely.
