Remembering Israel Godkin

Israel Godkin (Izzy) was not just a member of the family gospel group The Godkins. The 24-year-old singer was also a newlywed, getting ready to celebrate his first wedding anniversary with his wife Pele and he was a man looking forward to the birth of his first child, a daughter, in November. The son, brother, husband and dad to be who was described by his friends, The Katinas, as a man with a loving and humble heart, had everything to look forward to.
