to goomba2014 , do you sin? have u ever wrote a song or written lyrics, yes abstain from all appearance of evil, but those who beleive in jesus will goto heaven, no matter what sin they commit , thats why jesus died on the cross, for us who sin. May that minister some grace to the hearers.

yes but to continue sinning after accepting Christ is the same as crucifying Christ over and over again. He lives within us to help us overcome sin and temptation just the way He did.
I love that lecrae uses so much scripture in his songs/raps – listening to them edifies me and encourages me in my walk with the Lord. And even though it’s rap, I find myself worshiping the Lord to his stuff.

If everyone who believed in Jesus went to heaven then Adolf Hitler would be there considering he was catholic. There are tons of things god frowns down upon in the bible mate. Open the book for your own sake, you are sputing your religous opinion when you have absolutely no idea what you are talking about.
Correct, I am a Christian but there are far too many people who believe being a Christian is simply believing in Jesus and his resurrection. If you actually open the bible and see what it says, there is so much more to it than that. God desires you to surrender your whole life to do his will, to take up our own Cross like Jesus did no matter what it takes. This is far from the catholic Adolf Hitler, which is why (even though he may of believed in Jesus).. he will not be with Christ in eternity.
The difference between KNOWING Christ, having Christ LIVE in you and everything that Paul talks about for 1/5 of the bible is FAR more than simply believing in the son of God.
Surrendering your whole life to God, living completely for Gods will, thats what Christ did! That’s Gods desire for Christians!
Its so ashame there are Christians out there that think they can go on living their life as normal – name one person in the bible who after meeting Jesus didn’t give up everything for him.
Judas
Forgot about him, fair point. Well suppose it shows there are many that seem to be followers of Jesus, say they are. But maybe their heart is on other things, like prosperity – Judas.
If your life is based on love for others, the way Jesus’ was for us, then it isn’t wasted.
Well, this ended up being longer than I thought it would… Oops, but even if this helps one person, then it’s worth it.

John 8:38 “I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.” and we know that, John 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.” If we also are children of God, I John 3:1 “Behold, what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not.”

But this song isn’t about being blotted out of the Book of Life, it’s about all the people who haven’t heard. It’s about the fact that it’s the christian’s place to tell everyone the good news. EVERYTHING Jesus did on the earth was motivated by love, from birth to death He had love for mankind because,

The human free will part of all this is, anyone can change their decision at any time. If a person says they have no faith that Jesus died for them, then Romans 10:17 “So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” Once a person hears the good news of Jesus Christ the Messiah they have faith and the POSSIBILTY to make it true for them, that is when the person makes the choice to believe.
on betraying Jesus, but Jesus knew he had made his choice already, I John 3:15 “Whosoever hateth his brother is a murderer: and ye know that no murderer hath eternal life abiding in him.’, and Jesus being his shepherd and having a large amount of authority over Judas’ spiritual well being, gave it over to the devil, because he would have slowly given it over to satan himself, but that would’ve taken too long, and would have actually been worse for Judas.
The Lord never had to ask because, Jeremiah 17:10 “I the LORD search the heart and examine the mind, to reward a man according to his conduct, according to what his deeds deserve. (NIV)” He knew the intention of both men before he asked, he asked the first man to show us and the disciples that all people have a choice to make.
Many people have already decided and made thier choice before being asked, like Judas Iscariot, we will never know how long he had thought about and meditated
There is always a choice involved in following Jesus, as shown by the rich man in Mark 10:17-22, this man made the choice the very moment Jesus asked him to give everything he had away. The best thing to do is make the choice before you’re asked like Zacchaeus, the Lord never asked him to give up anything, but he said “Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have taken any thing from any man by false accusation, I restore him fourfold.”
