Crossover Church is about to have their largest outreach event in the history of their church on Saturday August 18th as they give away 1,000 back packs with school supplies on their campus. They’ll also be giving away over 5,000 pounds of groceries and having free haircuts, clothes, health screening, resources, a 3 on 3 basketball tournament, petting zoo, bounce houses and much more! There will be a concert going on during the entire event featuring Brinson, Jerrell Johnson, A.M., Urban D. and many other Crossover Church artists.
Crossover is located in one of the toughest zip codes in the state of Florida with their neighborhood nicknamed “Suitcase City”. The local fire station gets more drug overdose calls than actual fires. There is a huge need for resources, assistance and empowerment. The church has partnered with several key organizations in their city that are collectively piecing together a redevelopment plan to rebuild this community in crisis.
