Your Praise
Watch what you do with your praises, I once heard a pastor talk about the fear of rejection that everyone body has & people putting their praises in men but not in God. He was talking about how a person like yourself could be asking an individual & asking that person “can I go with you” or starting a conversation & that person doesn’t want to respond back. Then after, we don’t ask that person for anything or something again cause were in fear of rejection & then we start putting ourselves in praises of men, trying to make them happy.
Ephesians 6:6-8 – “Don’t [work only] while being watched, in order to please men, but as slaves of Christ, do God’s will from your heart. Render service with a good attitude, as to the Lord and not to men,.
In everything that we do, rather its playing instruments, singing, or making somebody happy. We must put our praises in God but not in men, also not to have fear of rejection, make peace with that person & be a peacemaker. Have praises of God.
Romans 2:29 – “On the contrary, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly, and circumcision is of the heart¾by the Spirit, not the letter. His praise is not from men but from God.”
Just wanted to encourage Lecrae in his work. More importantly, praise the Lord for his work through Lecrae. You, and we, are blessed my friend to be used of the Lord. Amen!
