What happens when you take seven people, all with different backgrounds and musical preferences, and inject and unite them with love for Jesus and for people? Heavy worship. The fiery passion in their music is only a reflection of the lives that they live off stage and outside the studio. They are based out of the mid-west city of Omaha, NE and are the lead worship team at G2:20 and the annual RTK Conferences. With a desire to stretch boundaries and break stereotypes, WatersEdge consistently takes a sledgehammer to the box of what people say worship music should sound like. “Worship is a lifestyle, not a specific musical genre. It cannot be defined by certain guitar tones and drum cadences,” says rap vocalist of WatersEdge, J. Crum, “Its a lot like love, it cannot defined by an act. Its a matter of the heart of the person.”
