Chance Takin Blame

With all of the confusion out there with respect to personal responsibility, this new joint by up and coming artist ChanceCold, “Blame’s on me” has got to be one of my favorites; but maybe for a different reason than you think. It’s about a dealer who was, along with the mother of his children, indicted for drugs charges and convicted. After doing time he came out of prison and God put the broken pieces back together again. Even though there’s still mad headway to make he starts out by apologizing to the people he’s hurt, “taking the blame” so that everyone can heal; and warning others to “steer clear of ‘dem streets.”
