Christian music has transformed my life and the fact that is has grown to so many different kinds has help me great in youth ministry. Christian rap being the number one because while I could have given my heart on a Israel New Breed song, the youth of today need something they can more relate to at the beginning stage of their faith. And artists like Lecrae, Trip Lee and much have paved away for just that. The DWYL Tour was epic and it is such a great message, just like the song it’s self because it causes the world to redefine what wasting your life is. God has been using many Christian rappers but for me mainly Lecrae and Trip Lee because they have created such thought provoking songs and also songs that a movement can birth from. Now as the youth leader at my church, I’m so excited with with effect that Christian rap music will have on the youth and how much more it will benefit the great movement of spreading Christ.
