Life Is Never Easy

I was born Puerto Rico January of 1989 I was raised in AZ were I lived with my parents and my 2 sisters. When I was about 3 parents split up, my mom full of mental problems so my dad kept us. We were too poor to live on our own so we moved in with my grandma and grandpa and that’s about the time we started going into the catholic church. Growing up as a kid I always believed in Christ just never followed, I knew some stories and such but it never interested me. My sophomore year in high school I was at a football game and my 7th grade math teacher saw me so were talking about school, told him i was failing math so he told me to go see him at school to get help if i needed it and I did. After tons of visits at the school I ended meeting his wife and 3 kids and he slowly but surely was talking about Christ with me and started going to church with them. I went to trips with his church to Cali for spirit west coast a few times and other stuff. From that point on through out high school I was struggling with Christ and parties I wanted both, but I couldn’t so I went back to my ways to parties and girls until late senior year my other teacher who I knew was Christian I asked him to help me set goals because he had helped me before and i accomplished everything. We were e-mailing back and fourth and then school ended so we started meeting early mornings and he introduced me to actually reading God’s Word and it started changing my life. Two years pass and we still meet every Thursday, I go to church with him, his wife, and 3 girls. I have a tendency to fall into peer pressure even now since I’m 21 I love to party but that puts a wall up between God and I so I have to give it up and drop some of my friends. I read God’s word everyday and ask questions to my mentors, always trying to push my self closer to the Lord. My life now is a roller coaster going up and down, but when I stay away from parties and old friends I am a dangerous warrior for Christ and nothing can stop me. I continue to pray that I stay on the path that I am on right now and if its not too much to ask, pray for me my brothers and sisters. God Bless p.s. Lecrae is the hardest rapper
