We received a phone call this morning from well-known Christian hip hop artist, Propaganda, that his long-time DJ and friend passed away this morning while traveling in Spain. DJ Efechto was a huge part of Propaganda’s sound, the Humble Beast label, and well-respected across the Christian hip hop community.

DJ Efechto was a very close friend of all of us here at Jam the Hype and the Urban Youth Workers Institute community where he DJ’d at many of our events. Here was his latest performance at the Jam the Hype Festival in 2018…
