“Left Hand” samples The Gap Band’s “Outstanding” to create a love song.
“I wrote this one thinking about my wife. Marriage is a covenant, not a contract. People forget that it’s a gift, I wanted to remind them,” said KB.
He debuted this track as the fourth single from his upcoming album. “Left Hand” follows previously released singles “Campaign,” “Got A Reason,” and “Blood 2,” building anticipation for the 13-track project due July 10.
KB reaches his peak performance throughout THIS CANNOT BE SOLD. The project moves fluidly through genres. It features Ben Fuller, Ryan Ofei, Bizzle, nobigdyl., and others.
“A lot of music right now is sedation. THIS CANNOT BE SOLD is the opposite; it’s language for people trying to endure the moment they’re actually in. The hard stuff, the beautiful stuff. Faith, family, legacy. That’s what can’t be sold,” explained KB.
