Hulvey is officially entering a new era, and he’s doing it with the most transparent body of work in his career. COULD BE TONIGHT follows the announcement of it being his last album on Reach Records. It was executive produced by xander. The 20-track project serves as a natural extension of Hulvey’s evolution as a believer. It is building on the spiritual depth of his acclaimed 2025 EP He Will Return while framing his faith within a much more expansive and direct vision of salvation.

This project arrives as Hulvey is riding a wave of undeniable momentum. His 2025 breakout saw the single “Altar” amass well over 150 million streams. It peaked at #25 on Billboard’s Hot Christian Songs chart. It ultimately earned him an RIAA Gold certification. This success followed his sophomore album, CRY. Hulvey took home the GMA Dove Award for Rap / Hip Hop Album of the Year.
“I made this album to get you ready for the return of The King. I didn’t realize the one to get ready was actually me. Today is Tonight,” Hulvey said.

The rollout for COULD BE TONIGHT was as intentional as the music itself. This project features a heavy-hitting lineup of collaborators. They include DC3, Torey D’Shaun, Kijan Boone, LIN D & DREW., nobigdyl., Connor Price, xander., Keith Malonson, and Zahriya Zachary.
On the song “INFLUENCER$,” Hulvey delivers a striking, unfiltered verse addressing the industry, the church, and a real-life encounter with Ye. Hulvey reveals that he was invited to write with Ye earlier this year. He declined, not as a diss, but as a public plea regarding the weight of influence and the cost of accountability.
The conversation sparked by the track is already traveling far beyond the CHH space. It is bolstered by a short film titled Field of Flowers. The film concludes with a haunting reference to Matthew 24:40: “Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left”—as a figure suddenly disappears from a desolate landscape.

Between the RIAA Gold certifications, sold-out headline runs, and a 33-city North American tour on the horizon with indie tribe and Kijan Boone, COULD BE TONIGHT signals a potential crossover moment. Hulvey is beginning to have a broader mainstream conversation. It is a direct, outward-facing body of work that proves that while the chapter with Reach may be ending, Hulvey’s mission is only just beginning.
