Reflection Music Group helped CHH and R&B leave an imprint at this year’s SXSW. This proves once again that the music belongs in every major music conversation.
SXSW has long been a launchpad for emerging sounds and cultural shifts. Hip-Hop Forever gave Christian rap a seat at the table. The lineup included: indie tribe, Derek Minor, Canon, Marty, Holy Gabbana, Mission, Don Ready, Parris Chariz, A.I. The Anomaly, Gavin The Hotrod, Dante Pride, Petrina DeLacy, and Sam Llanes. All of these artists represent a mix of what the community has to offer.
The team also hosted one of SXSW’s most talked‑about R&B stages of the weekend. The room hit capacity early, with the crowd spilling into the street. The line wrapped around the block for hours.
For years, Christian hip-hop has been home to elite talent. Now mainstream platforms are beginning to notice. Between SXSW, Rolling Loud, and the various other avenues opening up, CHH is reaching the intended audience.
Shout out to Doc Watson and the whole RMG team.
